Teaching Assistant
Reports to: Supervising Teacher and Principal | Employment: 10 months | Salary: State Schedule
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Meets “No Child Left Behind” requirements via: Associate’s degree, OR 48 college credits, OR WorkKeys 6 college credits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with instruction, classroom prep, and student supervision.
- Support teachers with clerical tasks and material organization.
- Maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bus Driver
Reports to: Director of Transportation | Employment: 10 months | Salary: State Schedule
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, 18 years old, 6 months driving experience.
- Valid NC driver’s license.
- Eligible for a commercial driver’s license.
- Must pass DOT drug/alcohol tests; no DWI convictions.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students, following traffic laws and school policies.
- Ensure student safety and enforce conduct rules.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report issues.
- Maintain positive relations with students, parents, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
