Summary: Harness IP is seeking a Patent Agent to join our intellectual property law firm in our Herndon, Virginia office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and prosecute U.S. patent applications.
- Review and revise foreign patent applications filed in the United States.
- Prepare responses to USPTO Office Actions and conduct examiner interviews, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with attorneys, inventors, and clients throughout the patent prosecution process.
- Manage multiple matters while maintaining accurate time records and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1 – 5 years of experience preferred.
- Experience with semiconductors and/or wireless communication technologies is a plus.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
