What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Harmony Veterinary Clinic?
We are AAHA certified and have a steady flow of complex medical and surgical cases. One of our associates sees exotics, and would be happy to have help with her avian patients, bunnies, sugar gliders and chinchillas if that is an area of interest for our new associate!
We need a fifth veterinarian who is comfortable with surgery and has experience and/or a strong interest in reproduction.
As members of the Society for Theriogenology and the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction, we work closely with those who share a passion for purposefully bred dogs and preservation of endangered breeds. Our practice would be very supportive of an individual seeking board certification in theriogenology. We are also willing to teach reproductive work ‘from the ground up’ for the right individual.
We provide a variety of services, including OVT, TCI, semen evaluation and cryopreservation, ultrasound, C-section, and male/female infertility work.
Salary is negotiable based on experience. Benefits include generous paid time off, flexible schedule, health insurance, retirement plan, continuing education, professional liability insurance, DEA license, AVMA dues, and more.
We are located in a beautiful area of upstate New York, near Saratoga Springs, about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston, and New York City. We have an amazing staff, and are constantly learning together...challenge yourself and come join our team!
