What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness/Movement Instructor position at Harmony The Collective?
Overview
Harmony the Collective is seeking fitness and movement instructors to join our team! We are a small boutique studio in the heart of Shelburne Falls that currently hosts yoga and mat Pilates classes. We are a collective of teachers and are looking to expand our offerings! If you teach yoga, barre, dance, or any other kind of movement and wellness, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead classes each week
- Teach proper exercise techniques to ensure safety
- Foster a positive, and inclusive atmosphere
- Check in with students and engage with the community
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training
- Certifications in relevant disciplines such as Pilates, Yoga, Barre, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate diverse groups
- Ability to adapt exercises for different skill levels while maintaining high energy and positive attitude
If any of this sounds like you, we encourage you to reach out! We currently have flexibility in scheduling classes and you are likely to be able to choose when you want to teach.
