Position Summary:
The Forklift Driver plays an important role in keeping production running smoothly by delivering the correct materials, maintaining inventory flow, and supporting production and shipping needs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating safely and following all plant safety procedures
- Wearing required PPE at all times
- Supplying operators with the correct materials to avoid downtime
- Identifying products and warehouse locations accurately
- Printing labels from the manufacturing system
- Following daily production schedules
- Cleaning and setting up grinders and dryers during mold changes
- Working closely with Quality, Technicians, and Production team members
- Maintaining housekeeping and sanitation standards
- Following Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Completing other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
- Dependable with good attendance
- Team-oriented and safety-focused
- Manufacturing experience is helpful, but willingness to learn is a must
