What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Music Teacher position at Harmony Monsters Music LLC?
Join us in inspiring a love of music in pre-K classrooms around the East Bay through fun, interactive music programming! The Early Childhood Music Teacher will deliver Harmony Monsters Music’s established 30-minute curriculum in multiple preschool classrooms on a weekly basis. We are seeking candidates who find joy in working with young children and building community through music.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience and/or interest in early childhood education and a love for working with young kids
- Experience in musical performance, including the ability to proficiently play a guitar or ukulele while singing
- Playful, nurturing and patient personality; some classroom management experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people of all ages
- Cultural competency and ability to interact effectively with people across cultures, ethnic groups and identities
Working Conditions
- Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for travel to school sites that are predominantly within the East Bay
- Personally-owned guitar or ukulele is required for performance; all other equipment and supplies will be provided
- Annual background check
