Job description:
We are a boutique independent insurance agency that specializes in niche insurance products. We are seeking a passionate and self-driven sales person. As our newest insurance sales representative you will sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers. We are looking for someone that is able to work in a team and collaborative environment. Must have a client-focused attitude and value the importance of relationships, professionalism and trust. Must have solid communication skills, be detail oriented and organized. Must be able to learn new skills, systems, processes, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and prospects on evaluating and assessing their risks.
- Contact multiple carriers and provide insurance quotes.
- Follow up on insurance quotes, actively manage sales pipeline.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A valid Property and Casualty insurance license in good standing is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player.
- Excellent selling skills, which includes follow-up and closing skills.
- Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Competent in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook
