PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Visits
Location: Newaygo County, MI and surrounding areas
Job Type: PRN Compensation: $40 / hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospice patients in their homes in the Newaygo, MI area. This role is ideal for an RN who values flexibility and is passionate about supporting patients and families during end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes according to the individualized plan of care
- Assess patient condition, manage symptoms, and administer medications as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, comfort measures, and medications
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team (physicians, social workers, aides, chaplains, etc.)
- Accurately document patient visits, assessments, and care provided in a timely manner
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and standards of care
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, or med-surg experience preferred)
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance
- Ability to travel locally within the Newaygo area
