Job Summary:
Ocean Healthcare, built on a vision to provide premium healthcare services in a caring, homelike environment, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Harmony Hospice Youngstown team. As a Hospice On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. With a deep understanding of hospice care and a current OH RN license, you will work 7 days on and 7 days off, handling after-hours calls and providing visits when needed.
Responsibilities:
Handle after-hours calls for hospice patients, going out for visits when needed, covering Columbiana, Mahoning, Trumbull, and Ashtabula counties
Provide compassionate care to patients and their families, promoting comfort and dignity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Utilize strong communication skills to document patient information and communicate with families and healthcare team members
Requirements:
Current OH RN License
Prefer experience in hospice care
Compassion and strong communication skills
