Responsibilities
- Responsible for administration medications and documentation in accordance with the standards set forth by Harmony Homes and as directed by the Executive Director.
- Replenishes medication and supplies as needed and maintains nursing station cleanliness.
- Keeps licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care and environmental condition, supply and equipment needs and performance problems.
- Assist in serving meals and busing tables during mealtimes if necessary.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including self-management, monitoring, or supervision of medications, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Document information pertaining to changes in resident’s functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
- Report concerns about residents to supervisor and co-workers.
- Respond to resident emergencies and arrange for appropriate medical attention.
- Identify supplies needed to perform tasks and report needs to supervisor.
Shift
- Full-time 2pm-10:30pm
Education and Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) with Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write and understand English
- Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
- Spend long periods of time walking/standing
- Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school degree or equivalent GED preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years prior experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
