Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) Caregiver to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Respond to resident needs promptly and respectfully, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is prioritized
- Provide medication reminders or assistance per RCFE regulations
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards
- Operate assistive devices safely to prevent injury during transfers
- Follow all state licensing requirements and facility policies
- Collaborate with RCFE staff, social workers, and families to uphold personalized care plans
Requirements
- Current RCFE caregiver experience (or other senior care settings) preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan)
- TB test and health screeningAbility to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting or transferring residents using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment
- Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
