Job Summary
Harmony Hill Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician to become part of our close-knit team. This role offers the opportunity to utilize the skills that you have developed working as an RVT under the supervision of an on-site DVM within the framework of what the State of Missouri allows. You will support veterinarians in delivering excellent medical care, and play an important part in the health and well-being of our patients.
Duties
- Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, including radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Provide safe, compassionate handling and restraint of animals
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories
- Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, and home care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Skills
We are seeking candidates with the following:
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with laboratory procedures and patient monitoring
- Skill in animal handling, restraint, and basic nursing techniques (catheterization, medication administration, etc.)
- Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration
- Attention to detail, organizational ability, and a commitment to patient safety
- Active License as a Registered Veterinary Technician

Pay: $17.50 - $27.50 per hour
