Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, oral care and other personal hygiene tasks
- Aiding clients with walking, transferring, and navigating their living spaces
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to the client’s dietary needs
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Feeding assistance if needed
- Grocery shopping or assistance shopping
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Providing reminders for clients to take their medications as prescribed
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and dusting
- Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, and shopping trips
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required for the role).
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting with mobility.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Experience:
- Caregiving: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
