Position Summary
Harmony Hearts Counseling is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to join our growing team. QMHPs provide rehabilitation-focused skills training and case management services to children, adolescents, and families within the community. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, values professionalism and teamwork, and is committed to supporting clients through a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide community-based skills training and case management services
- Assist clients with emotional regulation, coping skills, communication skills, social skills, and behavioral management
- Support clients with independent living skills and community functioning
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetings
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, providers, and community resources
- Maintain professionalism, boundaries, and ethical standards
- Assist with treatment planning and implementation of client goals
- Provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive support to children and families
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field required
- QMHP-CS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with children, adolescents, foster care, or behavioral health populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Must pass background check
