Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to support our elder members in the Hendersonville area. Ideal candidates are trustworthy, communicative, and have experience working with seniors and or individuals with disabilities.
Caregiver must have reliable transportation.
Schedule & Details
- Monday–Friday, dayshifts available, hours varies (9am-3pm)
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as meals, housekeeping, grocery shopping, and community access
- Provide support according to the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
- Help with mobility and fall prevention
- Monitor medications per company policy
- Maintain a safe, clean home environment
- Complete daily documentation and reports
- Provide transportation as needed
- Treat the member with dignity while promoting independence
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Comfortable working in a smoking home and around dogs/cats
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate and dependable demeanor
- Background check clearance required
- Experience with elderly preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred; CPR a plus
