The Operations Specialist assists with the day-to-day operational and facility needs of the organization. The Operations Specialist works collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and other team members to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for clients and staff.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist the Facilities Manager with routine facility maintenance, repairs, and general operational tasks.
- Complete assigned work orders and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility and grounds.
- Assist with moving equipment, furniture, supplies, and other items as needed.
- Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the Facilities Manager.
- Assist with vendor access, service appointments, and facility projects as directed.
- Transport clients to appointments, activities, or other approved destinations as needed, following all company transportation and safety procedures.
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to transportation, facility tasks, and assigned responsibilities.
- Follow all applicable safety, infection control, environmental, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance, repair, and general facility-related tasks.
- Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with clients, staff, vendors, and leadership.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet all company requirements for transporting clients.
- Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, operations, transportation, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull items as required to perform assigned duties.
