Role Description
The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving growth and expanding referral relationships throughout South Jersey and the Pennsylvania region. This full-time hybrid position, based in Union, New Jersey, focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads through outreach efforts, and building strong relationships with prospective clients and partners. The role serves as a key representative of the organization by presenting company services, assessing client needs, and recommending customized solutions that support customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. The Business Development Representative also collaborates closely with Account Executives to coordinate meetings and support sales initiatives while maintaining regular reporting of sales activities and outcomes to the Business Development Manager.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Education and Experience:
- BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field Knowledge of social and cultural influences that impact mental health preferred but not required
- Maintain all licenses and certifications as required of the position

- Proficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking and able to communicate clearly to staff, clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
