MDS Nurse - Day Shift (Mon-Fri)

As an MDS Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and autonomy of our seniors by implementing the federally mandated assessment tool to identify their unique needs and coordinate a plan of care.
Responsibilities:
Manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided
Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to optimize reimbursement and achieve maximum allowable RUG categories
Integrate information from various healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive care planning
Perform other job-related duties as required
Requirements:
MDS/RAI experience (Skilled Nursing Experience Preferred)
Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN certification in Texas
Knowledgeable of Medicaid legal regulations, guidelines, and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation
