Commercial Lending Assistant

Harmony Bank is looking for a Commercial Lending Assistant to partner with one our Dallas Market President and help keep the lending process running smoothly from start to finish. If you enjoy juggling multiple priorities, working with people, and being the behind-the-scenes person who keeps everything moving, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do
No two days are exactly alike, but here's a look at what you'll be doing:
- Partner with the Dallas Market President to keep commercial loans moving through the process.
- Prepare loan approval forms for Loan Operations, Loan Committee, and the Board.
- Assemble loan packages for our Loan Operations team.
- Order title work, closing statements, inspections, and other items needed to move loans forward.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify collateral coverage.
- Track and clear loan exceptions by providing documentation to Loan Operations.
- Communicate with borrowers throughout the lending process and answer questions along the way.
- Process construction and other draw requests, including ordering inspections when required.
- Help manage the market president's calendar, appointments, and daily schedule.
- Pitch in wherever needed to support the lending team.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is:
- Knowledgeable about commercial lending, loan documentation, and the lending process.
- Familiar with commercial real estate loans, business entities, CIP documentation, title policies, and UCC filing requirements.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and great at managing multiple priorities.
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with customers and teammates.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to solve problems, think ahead, and work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 or more years of commercial lending or commercial loan processing experience preferred.
