Caregiver/CNA- DAY/NIGHT SHIFT

Main Functions:

- Care for multiple residents in the facility

- Observe Resident Rights

-Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

1. Bathing, dressing, feeding, serve meals

2. Transfer to and from bed or chair or other locations within the facility.

3. Assist to and from toilet , assist with any toileting needs

4. Monitor and record bowel movements

5. Reposition residents in bed or chair

6. Assist with personal and dental hygiene

7. Assiste in ambulation

8. Make beds, change linens, do laundry

9. Answer call bells and make rounds

10. Take and record vital signs

11. Record ADLs on flow sheets

12. Observe residents and note physical condition changes, report changes to the manger

13. Use safety devices and standard precautions to prevent infection and disease

14. Basic house keeping

15. Assist manager/med. tech in giving treatments and examining residents

- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

- Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment
