PrimeTime Site Director - Vista Grande Elementary School

JOB DESCRIPTION. 

The Site Director is responsible for the overall supervision and management of their sites. They will conduct regular parent meetings to distribute information, conduct regular staff meetings, enforce progressive disciplinary procedures, develop and coordinate learning program activities and ensure administrative paperwork is accurate and completed on time. 

We are currently looking for a full time candidate to join Vista Grande Elementary School for AM and PM shifts in Tierrasanta, San Diego, California.

JOB COMPLEXITY.

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the program while following contract

• Provide regular supervision

• Develop and coordinate creative in-person and distance learning program activities

• Create and monitor student behavior plans and transitional plans when necessary

• Maintain attendance and snack records 

• Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate and completed on time

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (a basic math and literacy test)
• Must have a valid CPR and First Aid certification upon hire

• Must have 1 year working in an afterschool program or group child care setting with elementary and/or middle school aged children

• Must have either a minimum of 12 completed units in child development, elementary and/or middle school education, recreation or related field OR a minimum of 12 months documented work experience in an ASES program

• Must have 1 year supervisory experience of children & staff OR 1 year assistant supervisory experience within Harmonium OR demonstrated administrative and programmatic experience (ex. attendance tracking, staff counseling/training, student support, etc.) 

COMPENSATION.

• Starting Rate: $26.52 per hour (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience)
