Flow is Harmonic's next generation AI-native workflow tool; the central operating hub for venture capital, collapsing multiple traditional software categories into one platform for sourcing, researching and triaging investment opportunities.
Flow turns Harmonic into a system of record and context - enabling customers to sync their internal network and business data and combine it with Harmonic's knowledge graph of tens of millions of companies and hundreds of millions of people, each enriched with 400 dimensions. This enables context-aware, actionable workflows and insights (agentic and otherwise) - at scale.
While Flow has strong initial traction from users, it is still in its early days - you will be key in releasing and marketing the product widely, and scaling up the user base.

- Explore the Team Page. We're a mix of ex-founders and seasoned engineers from top engineering institutions like Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Meta.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end to end feature development, building towards a AI-native, "above the line" deal flow tracking experience. For example:
- Natural-language-defined notifications to enable users to receive rich alerts about the companies in their scope based on hyper-customized criteria
- A seamless, one-click migration experience to enable customers to port data they want mapped onto their Harmonic instance from their internal tools/systems
- Ambient agents that research, produce prep materials, and triage opportunities for users based on their calendar and email engagements
- Prototype and productionize novel AI-first design patterns that require solving problems across the stack. This ranges from building complex personalized workflows predicated on large, constantly-updating customer and user specific data to building online and background agents.
- Hear and learn from venture investors at the industry's top firms to understand their pain-points and design solutions to address them
- "Get Shit Done"; you get your dopamine from seeing your users thrive with what you've built
- 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. This role is 70/30 back-end leaning.
- A record of shipping high-quality product. We're excited to hear about the major releases you've driven over the past several years.
- Experience quickly turning ambiguity into clarity - building scalable, performant, and observable frontend and backend systems from first principles while balancing technical, product, and organizational tradeoffs.
- An interest in venture capital and the startup ecosystem.
