PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Residential Roofing Foreman leads roofing crews on residential roofing projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of roofing work. Acting as the on-site leader, the Foreman supervises daily roofing operations, supports crew training, and coordinates closely with supervisors and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines.

Acting as the on-site leader, the Foreman supervises daily roofing operations, supports crew training, and coordinates closely with supervisors and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and direct roofing crew activities on residential roofing jobs.
- Ensure all roofing work complies with safety standards, company policies, and project specifications.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and workmanship.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify roof conditions and quality of completed work.
- Enforce proper use of PPE and fall protection equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on site.
- Assist in training crew members on roofing techniques, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory on site, ensuring proper use and storage.
- Report job progress, challenges, and incidents promptly to the Roofing Manager.
- Maintain clean and organized job site throughout project duration.
- Minimum 2.5 years of experience in residential roofing with leadership or foreman responsibilities.
- OSHA 30 Certification
- or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation best practices, especially related to solar projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety with understanding of OSHA regulations and fall protection.
- Ability to physically perform roofing tasks and supervise crews on rooftops in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- This is a Safety Sensitive Position and may require additional training such as First Aid, CPR and Competent Person Training.
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights safely.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
