Global industrial manufacturing company seeks to hire a Senior Accountant to oversee month end close, financial reporting, and accounting operations. This highly visible role will also help build and improve processes to create scalability for the rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and assist in financial statement preparation
- Oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, and impairments
- Proactively identify control gaps and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support the annual audit process
- Oversee and monitor SOX compliance
- Identify control gaps and help stabilize / improve control environment
- Partner with FP&A, Operations, Treasury, and other departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions
- Assist with financial review and technical accounting research
- Special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Public accounting audit or corporate accounting experience with large publicly traded global companies
- CPA preferred
- SAP or similar ERP experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Self starter

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
