What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Photographer position at Harmann Studios?
Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hr. - End of season bonus - $1/hour. Hourly rate will increased based on years of experience. We will train and provide a great experience with our team. What will I do as a photographer in this role?
As a Seasonal School Photographer, you'll work alongside an exciting team of photographers and customer service associates to:
Capture high-quality images of students, faculty, and staff during school portrait sessions on location at local schools throughout NE Wisconsin.
- Set up and utilize professional photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and backdrops, to achieve desired results.
- Pose subjects and compose shots creatively to capture natural and flattering images emphasizing great expressions.
- Interact with students, faculty, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
What Skills and abilities do I need to become successful in this role?
- A strong desire to learn and ability to work within team environments.
- Possess an outgoing, fun, yet professional personality
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and operational skills, particularly with PC-based software systems.
- Ability to be flexible with schedule and start times, including early mornings and early evenings.
- Must maintain reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, and be able to travel to local schools within NE Wisconsin. Carpooling is facilitated with company vehicles when necessary.
Work Schedule & Job Assignments
- Seasonal - July through October/November (Considerations toward additional hours to assist in our photo lab, following)
- Monday through Friday (Early morning through mid-afternoon - Approximately 20-40 hours per week.
