Assembler-Sheet Metal

- Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using
blueprint station lines and index points
- Trims and files parts to fit, and verifies fitting tolerances, using
- Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts,
using hand tools and power tools
- Installs parts and components, such as incidental plumbing,
using hand tools and power tools. May specialize in assembling and
installing parts, structural components, and subassemblies to build
wing assemblies
- Locates holes to be drilled in structural assembly for installation
instruments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of

- Ability to read blue prints and tech manuals
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift, squat and bend with up to 50 pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Sheet Metal Assembly experience, preferred
- Experience in bushing & bearing installation, use of liquid
rivets & blind fasteners, preferred
