WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As a Full Time Loan Customer Service Representative at Harleysville Bank, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with potential loan customers. You will interview applicants, explaining our diverse loan products while establishing costs and providing necessary disclosures. Your knowledge will extend beyond lending, enabling you to cross-sell our non-lending products effectively. With authority for consumer loans up to $50,000, you'll assess loan policy standards and facilitate timely updates throughout the underwriting process.

Collaborating closely with the Loan Customer Service Manager, you'll nurture valuable connections with realtors and builders, enhancing our referral network. In addition to supporting community and educational initiatives, you'll provide training to branch personnel on lending policies, contributing to an exceptional service and sales atmosphere. Your recommendations on improving departmental operations will help shape the future of our customer service success.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS LOAN CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE JOB

To thrive as a Full Time Loan Customer Service Representative at Harleysville Bank, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have at least two years of direct experience in residential lending, along with an active NMLS registration. A strong understanding of the Bank's policies, loan products, underwriting guidelines, and lending procedures is essential. Good credit analysis skills, and the ability to interpret financial statements and documents, will aid in assessing loan applications.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and department-specific software is necessary for daily operations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are vital for engaging effectively with clients. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong sales acumen, time management abilities, and multitasking capabilities while working independently.

Additionally, the willingness to travel for training or customer needs, as well as flexibility to work non-standard hours, will enhance your ability to meet client demands and community requirements efficiently.

Adhere to all compliance procedures for regulatory requirements including BSA and OFAC and complete all required training.

Adhere to established Bank policies including the HB Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
