Responsibilities and Duties * Support the efficient daily operation of the campus front office by performing clerical and secretarial duties * Provide courteous assistance to students, teachers, parents, staff, and visitors * Provide clerical and administrative support to the principal and teaching staff * Maintain accurate student attendance records and track absences using reporting software * Perform data entry and generate reports as needed * Manage front office operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining school calendars * Coordinate substitute coverage as needed * Maintain all recordkeeping for students and staff * Maintain the integrity of office files, databases, and information systems * Create and maintain up-to-date class lists and related records * Prepare, proofread, edit, and circulate communication documents and correspondence * Provide support services for administrators such as typing, proofreading, and editing documents * Use common computer hardware and software efficiently in daily office operations * Ensure the office operates in an organized and efficient manner each day * Handle sensitive student and staff information with professionalism and confidentiality * Communicate with students, parents, and staff members in a courteous and supportive manner * Remain informed of and comply with state, district, and campus policies and procedures related to assigned duties * Perform other duties as assigned
