Job Title: Testing Service Technician
Status: Full Time – Non-Exempt
Reporting To: Business Unit Director
Position Purpose:
This position supports performance testing and analytical testing services (BU 190) in support of BU 190 monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals. This position may also be called upon to support BU 160, BU 210, R&D, validation and/or troubleshooting activities as part of a cross functional team.
This position is expected to complete tasks on time per schedule, assist to maintain inventory and equipment, assist to maintain the cleanliness of the lab and effectively communicate any issues to the direct supervisor in a timely manner. In addition, this position must prioritize the workflow as scheduled.
This position may also be expected to provide support to peripheral business units, as business needs require and permit. This may include, but is not limited to, technical support, task completion and execution of plan.
This position is required to apply sound scientific fundamentals and lab technique to achieve the needs of the business unit. Talent for communication, team work and a high level of work ethic is also desired.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2-year experience is highly desirable
- Experience working in cross-functional team in a Regulated Medical Device Environment
- Familiar with Quality and Regulatory systems for medical devices including Combination Drug Products
- Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge and experience with GLP/GMP/GDP is highly desirable
- Detail-oriented, highly organized team player
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter and motivated individual who effectively works independently and, on a team
- Minimally, understand and apply knowledge of ISO 17025: 2017

- Employee is required to use appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, nitrile or latex gloves, lab coat, hair bonnet, shoe covers, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection, face shield, or respiratory mask while working in a lab or manufacturing space

Personnel engaged in manufacturing shall obtain training required by ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR part 820, FDA 21 CFR part 210 & 211, and Harland Medical System’s internal procedures, where deemed appropriate per assigned job functions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged period of time. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist. Using proper lifting techniques, the employee must be able to lift to 40 lbs.
