SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing repetitive work-station or line assembly operations to mass produce electrical drive axles or to assemble those components (sub-assemblies) into final completion of the towing tractor or other manufactured products by performing the following duties.

- Performs any assembly type functions, using hand or power tools
- Assemble electrical drive axle
- Breakdown and rebuild transmissions
- Sub-assemblies for electrical axle and transmission
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Inspects own work performed prior to Quality Inspection and Final Inspection
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor
- Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned

- Use of safety glasses and steel toed shoes required
- Minimum 1 year experience with air tools and prior mechanical assembly of automobiles preferred
- Experience in assembling drive axles
- Experience in transmission assembly
