NOW HIRING: FULL-TIME NIGHT RN
Harlan County Health System is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse to join our team. This position provides high-quality nursing care to patients in our inpatient and emergency departments during the night shift.
Position Details
- Full-time position
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Night shift: 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- Eligible for HCHS’s comprehensive benefits package
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the inpatient and emergency department settings
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document patients’ conditions and responses to care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the healthcare team
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards
What We’re Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or eligibility for Nebraska licensure
- BLS, ACLS and other applicable certifications preferred or obtained within the required timeframe
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rural healthcare environment
- Previous inpatient or emergency nursing experience preferred
