Harlan Community School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher for a high school math classroom. This position will cover a leave of absence and is expected to run from August 25th through aproximately November 9th. The ideal candidate will provide a positive, structured learning environment and deliver engaging instruction aligned with district curriculum and grade-level standards. Strong classroom management, flexibility, and collaboration with staff and families are essential.
Qualifications:

Valid Iowa teaching license or substitute authorization required

Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt instruction as needed
