Operations & Client Service Associate

Fee-Only Financial Planning Firm | In-Office

We are a fee-only financial planning firm looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Operations & Client Service Associate to join our five-person team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently in a collaborative, low-ego office environment.

You’ll support daily operations, assist with client service tasks, and help maintain efficient office systems. Prior experience in financial services is not required—what matters most is strong organizational skills, follow-through, and a genuine interest in learning. This position offers the opportunity to grow over time, including the potential to develop into a paraplanner or financial planning support role.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and naturally sees what needs to be done without constant direction. This is an in-office role well suited for someone with prior professional experience who is seeking a stable, meaningful position in a small firm where their contributions truly matter.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a business, administrative, communications, or analytical role
• Prior experience in an office or professional services environment (e.g., legal, accounting, education, nonprofit administration, corporate operations)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Comfort working with technology, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and CRM or database systems
• Ability to manage tasks independently, prioritize effectively, and follow processes with minimal supervision
• Interest in financial planning, operations, or client service, with a desire to continue learning and growing professionally
