With 92 years of history, Harkins Theatres is looking for a Sales Manager who plans and implements solicitation and sales activities to achieve annual proactive sales objectives. They will manage new programs, sales reporting, and the creation and updating of sales presentations. They will proactively solicit potential clients and customers seeking theater/event space, food and beverage options, and unique event venue options. They will develop sales plans, actions, and strategies to meet or exceed established goals and will be responsible for reactive sales

What You Will Be Doing:
- Proactively solicit potential clients and customers seeking theatre/venue space, Vouchers, BackLot space, Popcorn truck, food and beverage services, and unique event options (Freezer, Patios).
- Develops sales plans, actions, and strategies to meet or exceed established goals.
- Plans and executes solicitation efforts (25% Proactive Solicitation, 75% reactive).
- Evaluates and attends tradeshow/networking events.
- Conducts sales call and solicitation efforts, which include sales performance reporting and analysis.
- Partners with operations, ecommerce, event experience, finance, IT and theatre operations teams to ensure full communication of events and event needs.
- Creates proposals and presentations to decision makers.
- Effectively communicates new products and services to prospective clients, including both verbal and written communication.
- Evaluates with DOS, ROI on events/accounts booked and propensity to re-book.
- Contacts historic clients or repeat business potential.
- Is knowledgeable of all upcoming film and theatre content to pivot and solicit specific target groups/market.
- Analyzes and monitors success of programs and events monthly.
- Quotes rates and prepares contracts, prepares proposals, creates sales packages, services account and analyzes lost business.
- Ensures all information in the Sales System/CRM are up to date and accurate (Tripleseat).
- Regular attendance and physical presence at the work site.
- Travel up to 25% to various local customer/theatre locations.
- Must always have current auto insurance as well as a valid driver's license.
- Must carry a company cell phone and laptop and be available evenings and weekends for events.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in hospitality/group/catering sales, or a related sales management function.
- Highly developed knowledge of sales goals and proactive sales and solicitation procedures.
- Experience with analyzing data and delivering insights.
- Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and provide conclusions or approaches to the job.
- Proven track record of pipeline development and closing sales.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet research. CRM experience is a plus.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Reliable work vehicle and willingness to travel.
