BASED AT: Harken, Inc. / Cascade Rescue, Sandpoint, ID
STATUS: Non-exempt, full-time

What you’ll be doing:
Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately picking, receiving, packaging, and shipping products and materials to support daily operations. This role ensures orders are properly prepared, labeled, documented, and shipped according to customer and company requirements. As well as maintaining inventory records, processing incoming materials and returns, and works with various departments to coordinate shipping and receiving needs.
Essential Duties:
- Identify and accurately count and pick product as needed to fulfil work orders
- Prepare and package shipment and determine labelling requirements
- Post weights and shipping documents as required
- Perform computer functions as required
- Communicate with various departments to determine shipping requirements
- Package and box shipments per customer instructions
- Attach labels and packing slips as needed for domestic and international shipping
- Receive materials, supplies and parts and log into system the same day as received.
- Receive and maintain inventory
- Process returns
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications we are looking for:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of experience in an office, administrative, shipping, warehouse, or similar role; equivalent experience will be considered.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with MRP/ERP system
Knowledge, Skills and abilities:
- Ability to use standard office equipment
- The ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment, within specified time constraints.
- Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as work independently as needed
