Housekeeper

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and other specialized techniques to preserve flooring quality
• Manage janitorial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as cleaning patios or outdoor furniture to uphold overall cleanliness
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items like furniture or equipment during cleaning routines
• Coordinate with housekeeping management to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of all duties

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles is preferred
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning procedures across various environments
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Skilled in floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities is advantageous
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks within designated schedules
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when needed
