What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope: GThe Document Controls Specialist is generally responsible for document management for projects and personnel. This work will be performed under general supervision in our Beaumont office.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Requires 5 years of relevant industrial experience in document control and administration.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
- Document management of electronic files for distribution which may include converting between different software packages, printing, scanning and/or copying. This requires the use of the Newforma Project Center (training provided).
- Researching files and records to locate appropriate documents as requested by other personnel.
- Responding to client requests of all types.
- Generating activity reports as required by the project managers.
- Assisting the project managers with administrative tasks as necessary.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Requires 5 years of relevant industrial experience in document control and administration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge and application of company standards.
- Knowledge of engineering document control standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction plans and diagrams.
- Knowledge of large-scale scanner and plotter operation.
- Ability to organize effectively.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Web Collaboration Tools and Adobe Acrobat. Newforma software experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to comply with client procedures.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
