Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in substation physical design
- Proven experience with high-voltage systems up to 345kV
- Strong document management, organization, and quality control skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidates should have working knowledge of, or experience with, the following tools:
- AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
- Bentley MicroStation
- ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or ASPEN OneLiner
- CYMCAP
- PLS-CADD (or similar transmission line analysis software)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
