Role Description The Director of Sports Marketing is a full-time, on-site role located in Chatham, VA, responsible for elevating the visibility and reputation of Hargrave’s athletic programs. This role develops and executes comprehensive sports marketing plans, including brand positioning, digital campaigns, game-day promotions, and community engagement initiatives. The Director collaborates closely with athletic directors, coaches, admissions, advancement, and communications teams to drive enrollment interest, increase event attendance, and strengthen alumni and community support. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing marketing calendars, overseeing creative content for social media and web, coordinating sponsorships and partnerships, tracking campaign performance, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The role also supports sales and outreach efforts by creating compelling presentations, materials, and experiences that highlight Hargrave’s athletic excellence and leadership development mission.
