Job Description | The Position Coach will need to possess the expertise in their respective sport and exhibit excellence in position specific coaching. The Position Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with conducting practices and competitions; ensures adherence to the NJCAA Code of Ethics; and performing other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Assistance and awareness of the academic success of student athletes is a priority for all coaches. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. |
Required Education | High School diploma/GED and college credits with a minimum of 30 hours or more are required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Applicants with multiple years of professional playing/coaching experience will be accepted in lieu of education. |
Required Experience | Minimum of three (3) years of experience with a combination of active game situation coaching at the high school, club/select, or collegiate level or professional playing/coaching experience. |

Preferred Qualifications | Preference will be given to candidates familiar with NJCAA and Maryland JUCO guidelines and policies. |
Hours per Week | 20 |
General Weekly Work Schedule | Work schedule based on sports season. Final schedule to be determined by the supervisor. |
