Summary:
The Loan Operations Processor creates Laser Pro documents, coordinates settlement documentation with the consumer loan team, files lien position documentation, tracks missing documents, processes change in terms, processes loan payments and escrow disbursements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares loan documentation from Laser Pro for consumer/commercial installment loan settlements.
- Inputs new loans into the core and sets up payment schedules according to loan documentation.
- Performs file maintenance as necessary on existing loan portfolio, including the processing of payments, corrections to account postings, and resolving customer service needs.
- Records bank’s lien on consumer mortgages and home equity loans to ensure perfection of lien status.
- Files liens for vehicle, boat and RV loans.
- Sets up and maintains loan files. Organizes file with all required documentation.
- Ensures all noted exception items are cleared in a timely manner.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking UCC filings, hazard and flood insurance, and other required items.
- Ability to perform reconciliation of general ledger settlement and payable accounts. Ensures that daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations are complete and accurate and necessary research is performed on all outstanding items.
- Performs input of wire transfers for settlements.
- Interacts with loan officers when needed to ensure proper adherence to procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years related experience is required.
- Demonstrated decision-making.
- Demonstrates excellent communications skills.
- Proven knowledge of loan information systems, particularly Laser Pro.
- Ability to provide prompt service and timely decisions within a fast-paced environment, managing changing deadlines.
- Proven ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner to provide exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to interact with all internal bank departments.
- Collaborative approach to business solutions.
- Outstanding motivation and drive for team excellence.

Salary : $40,500 - $75,000
