Hardypond Construction is hiring for a Superintendent position to manage multiple smaller projects through a Project Management and Superintendent lens. This position is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and quality. This role blends on-site leadership with project management responsibilities, requiring a dynamic individual who can coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and maintain excellent customer service with clients. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, maintains a positive attitude, and leads by example.
The minimum qualifications include:
- 5 or more years’ experience working as a superintendent, project manager or other equivalent position in the construction industry.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, quality control, cost control, and safety.
- Proven track record of managing individuals and leading crews effectively.
- Able to read and accurately interpret plans and specifications and demonstrate ability to estimate project scope changes.
- Experience executing subcontractor agreements and preparing pay requisitions.
- Familiar with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam and MS Office software.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
