Engineering Aid – Part-Time (Potential Full-Time)
Professional Engineer seeking a detail-oriented aid to assist with work plans in an aerospace machine shop. Must be computer proficient with Excel and Word; SolidWorks a plus. Ideal for an engineering student, mechanic, or craftsperson with strong organizational skills. Position starts part-time with potential to grow into full-time. US Citizen.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning aerospace tools and assemblies
- Call vendors for status
- Make Engineering sketches from electronic models
- Kit up routers for making parts and assemblies
- Help identify parts that need bidding from new potential orders
- Data entry
- Scanning and photocopying
This part-time position provides valuable exposure to an aerospace machine shop and working for an engineer. Candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while supporting team objectives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
Work Location: In person
