What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer - All Levels position at Hardware FYI?
Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
Support repair and rework activities.
Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
Communicate hardware procurement and fabrication priorities to the team.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, or automotive manufacturing.
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
Proficiency in CAD and software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100.
Self-directed and able to balance multiple tasks.
