What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Supply Manager, Testing CapEx position at Hardware FYI?
- Analyze manufacturing processes and supplier pool.
- Develop and issue RFQ packages to suppliers.
- Validate and analyze supplier quotes for sourcing recommendations.
- Manage direct spend for tester/fixture equipment.
- Identify and negotiate cost reduction opportunities.
- Cultivate supplier relationships as the main contact for commercial issues.
- Build technical knowledge of SMT & Module level testers.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 1 years of experience in a sourcing role, preferably in electronics capital expenditure.
- Expertise in wireless testers is a plus.
- Understanding of contract fundamentals and experience with GT&C and SOW.
- Experience in developing "should-cost" estimates.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
