The Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces, enjoy working outdoors, and want to develop your skills with a company that invests in your growth, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

· Execute Quality Work: Perform mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general lawn maintenance to our high standards

· Seasonal Services: Assist with fertilization, mulching, spring/fall cleanups, and other seasonal maintenance tasks

· Equipment Care: Properly operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment

· Team Collaboration: Work alongside your foreman and crew to complete jobs efficiently and professionally

· Client Interaction: Represent Hardscapes Landscaping with professionalism and courtesy on every job site

· Property Care: Pay attention to detail and treat every property like it’s your own

· Safety First: Follow all safety protocols and best practices to keep yourself and your team safe

What We’re Looking For

Required: - 1 years of lawn care or landscaping experience preferred (but will train the right candidate) - Strong work ethic and commitment to quality - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Reliable transportation to get to our shop/meeting location - Valid driver’s license preferred - Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day - Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus Points: - Experience operating commercial mowing equipment - Knowledge of turf care, plant identification, or landscape maintenance - Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Previous experience working on a landscape crew - Pesticide applicator license or interest in obtaining one

What a Typical Day Looks Like

· Start your day at our shop, load equipment, and review the day’s schedule

· Travel to multiple residential and commercial properties throughout Connecticut

· Work with your crew to complete mowing, trimming, edging, and maintenance tasks

· Take pride in leaving every property looking its best

· Return to shop, clean and maintain equipment, prepare for the next day
