Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and tailored solutions
- Identify and generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts
- Provide problem solving solutions to current and prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits
- Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize sales opportunities within assigned regions
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships with clients
- Upsell additional products or services to existing customers to increase revenue
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and brand awareness
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform sales strategies
- Provide feedback from clients to the product development team for continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong management skills with experience in territory management and account management
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience in retail sales, inside sales, or direct sales is advantageous
- Ability to conduct effective product demos and presentations tailored to client needs
- Demonstrated ability in cold calling, lead generation, and developing new business opportunities
