Here at Harding we are currently recruiting for a Profit Protection Specialist to join us our team, this is a unique challenge within a scaling retailer with a twist!
About The Role
As a Profit Protection Specialist, you’ll play a key role in inventory management and loss prevention. You’ll coach our onboard cruise retail teams on company policies and procedures, with a specific focus on reducing losses and driving shelf availability.
Based in our Miami office on a hybrid working basis alongside regular national/international travel.
Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, 401k, Florida Blue healthcare, 21 days leave annually
What You Will Be Doing
You will lead initiatives that reduce onboard retail stock loss and enhance operational standards. In this role, you’ll develop and implement Stock Loss Improvement Plans, conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders, and collaborate with the Inventory Reconciliation team to analyse data and drive results. You’ll provide feedback and guidance following onboard compliance audits, support new store openings, and oversee third-party stock counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and a passion for operational excellence.

About You
- Experience in a travel retail environment would be highly advantageous
- Happy to travel, you will be required to travel at least 50% of the time in this role for multiple days at a time
- Process driven with excellent attention to detail, able to analyse data to identify root cause, trends, and present solutions
- An understanding of Stock Management and Profit and Loss systems would be desirable, as would experience with third party stocktaking and logistics
- Strong communicator with a confident approach to driving results
- Competent using Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Microsoft Business Central would be an advantage)
- Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the US
