Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
• Teach within the PA program's didactic and/or clinical curriculum.
• Advise and mentor physician assistant students.
• Support laboratory instruction and hands-on technical skills training.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous program improvement.
• Maintain clinical competency through appropriate professional practice and continuing education.
• Engage in scholarship, professional development, and service to the program, college, university, and community.
• Participate in admissions, student recruitment, and other program-related activities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related healthcare field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentoring, and collaborative professional practice.
Physician Assistant Applicants
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Arkansas.
Physician Applicants
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Arkansas.
