Harding Metals, Inc., leaders in the recycling industry are seeking a CDL-A Driver based from its facility in Northwood, NH.
Candidates must have a valid CDL-A license and a good driving and safety record. Candidates must pass a background check and a drug test. Preference will be given to candidates with experience. We do hire recent graduates of Tractor Trailer Driving Schools with little experience. Dump trailer experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards while driving.
- Securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
